States of Remaining is an ongoing series made in the high desert landscape of Joshua Tree. In these images, I am drawn to forms marked by time, weather, exposure, and endurance. These are trees and stones shaped not by ease, but by condition. They seem to embody distinct states of being: burdened, reaching, upright, broken, and still remaining. My goal is to interpret these desert forms and make photographs that feel austere, elemental, and alive with the dignity of what has endured.
Images from this series are available as archival fine art prints. Please contact me for pricing and framing information.
